What we collect
When you create an account, we store your email address. When you use Cozy Fables, you may also provide character names, ages, descriptions, favorite themes, and optional photos used to generate storybook avatars. We store the stories and illustrations you create.
How we use it
Your information is used only to personalize bedtime stories and illustrations for your account. Photos are sent to our AI provider to create storybook-style avatars and scene art. We do not sell your data.
Who can see it
Characters and stories are private to your account by default. If you turn on story sharing, anyone with the link can read that specific story. Other users cannot see your characters or library.
Storage & deletion
Data is stored securely with Supabase. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your characters, stories, and avatars.
Children's privacy (COPPA)
Cozy Fables is for families. Accounts are for users 13 years of age or older (typically a parent or legal guardian). Children do not create their own accounts.
When you use the service, you may enter information aboutchildren or other family members (for example a first name, optional age, description, favorite themes, and an optional photo) so we can personalize stories and illustrations. We do not require a child's real name, school, phone number, or home address.
Photos and story prompts you provide may be sent to our AI provider (xAI) to generate storybook-style avatars and scene art. We do not sell personal information. We do not use behavioral advertising.
Stories and characters are private to your account by default. If you turn on sharing for a story, anyone with the link can read that story.
Parental choices:Account holders can download a copy of account data or delete the account (and all characters, stories, and photos) from Settings at any time. For questions or requests about a child's information, email hello@cozyfables.com with the subject line "Parental privacy request." We aim to respond within five business days.
We keep information while your account is active to provide the service. When you delete your account, we remove your characters, stories, and stored images from our systems.
Your privacy choices
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not run ads on Cozy Fables. If we add analytics or similar tools in the future, we will update this policy and honor applicable opt-out rights where required.
California residents: because we do not sell or share personal information as defined under the CPRA, there is no sale to opt out of. You can still download your data or delete your account from Settings at any time.
